Pin it down, Pin-up Girl

I can't tell you how many times I have inadvertently shown my bra in public from my clothes shifting around. A lot of times the main culprit is wrap dresses and surplice tops that just don't cover the bra completely unless they stay perfectly in place, which, let's face it, they never do. And plunge bras aren't available in some sizes.

I had a theater teacher once whose outfit was never complete without a glinting safety pin holding her button-down shirt together. Tacky, tacky, tacky. Safety pins are for diapers.

Enter the Bosom Button. Bosom Buttons are easy to use and are made with Swarovski crystals or other gems, so they're meant to be seen, like an accessory. One simply pins it through the clothes and the button holds them together, preserving one's modesty and adding a little sparkle. They can also be used as a replacement button or a scarf pin.

I would like to see them come out with a fabric-covered version, especially in black jersey, so that it'll blend in with my dresses, but for the most part, what a great idea!

Bosom Buttons are available for $12 apiece or in packs of 3 for $25 at the Bosom Button website and Torrid stores.
