Tonic: t-shirts with a conscience

Sometimes a t-shirt is more than just a t-shirt. I'm not talking about that perfect-fitting tee that you've been wearing for the past three years and you still get compliments on it. I'm talking about a t-shirt on a higher philosophical plane here -- one that helps achieve a socially-conscious goal and looks awesome.

Tonic Generation is a t-shirt shop that offers eco-friendly organic cotton/bamboo tees with a heart. Right now they have four graphic tees on sale. The proceeds from each design goes towards a specific humanitarian cause like providing mosquito nets in Africa, or fresh water in Honduras. The one pictured on the right goes towards educating children in rural India.

In case you haven't heard, philanthropy is totally in fashion right now. So any time you can combine a cool-looking article of clothing with a good cause, you score double fashion points. Bonus!
