Did Diablo Cody make leopard skin jump the shark?

We're right there with Kristen Seymour on loving a bit of leopard. And Diablo Cody is a full on inspiration to us lady writers -- you will find zero hating round these parts.

But...

Ever since the Diablo Cody awards ceremony (over) exposure tour, leopard skin, either as an outfit theme or accent, seems a bit...tired.

Diablo was a knock out at the BAFTAs in that Cavalli dress. And she has a vintage leopard skin coat that looks great over pretty much anything.

Ok, maybe not with the argyle knee socks, but you have to give her points for effort.

And yet, somewhere around the IFC Spirit Awards when she dragged out the leopard skin hand bag, again an enviable accessory, we started to get "Signature Look Fatigue."

Maybe Mel B, aka Scary Spice (who loves a nice leopard print or three) should be held accountable a little. She was on Dancing with the Stars and the Spice Girls were just doing their reunion thing recently. I'll cut Ms. Diablo a little slack.
