Sex and the City ladies photoshopped into their late teens

New Sex and the City promo pictures have just been released, and the ladies don't look a day over 20! We know that the magazine and movie people always seem to want to do some Photoshop, to make their superstars look, well, more superstarish -- because obviously no woman actually looks good as is. Of course, no matter how thin or beautiful, everyone needs to be airbrushed (ahem, total sarcasm). But, this time, the Sex and the City retouchers have taken things over the top.

Do the SATC ladies look better in real life?

Carrie Bradshaw and her girls have been smoothed and skinnified beyond recognition. We just don't get it. Don't the marketing people realize that 10 years have passed since the debut of the original series? And that during that 10 years, the viewers also aged? None of us are 20 anymore either!

Women with no crows feet, no smile lines, no nothing, aren't believable. Kim Cattral is over 50, for pete's sake! And she still looks amazing in real life, wrinkles and all. Why isn't that enough for the powers that be?

I don't think they look photoshopped into their late "teens." Their skin definitely looks too good to be true if that's what you mean but that's kind of a given nowadays, I think they still look close to their age, they didn't photoshop the face structure beyond recognition

Nastia, in the main picture it's not as bad, but did you look at their individual pictures? To me Kim Cattral was the one who looked the most unrecognizable!

Here's the deal. Sarah Jessica Parker has always been and always will be homely. She has a huge beak and a mole on her chin. Cynthia Nixon is a flat out skank. There is nothing appealing about her. She still has her baby teeth. Now Kristin Davis is hot and after seeing her recent sex photos, she obviously knows what she's doing in the sack.
Kim Cattral will always be Miss Honeywell, the jock sniffing, sex siren from Porky's. I carry a dirty jock with me all the time in hopes of running into her in Hollywood. I'd like to have a go with Lassie!!!

The promo pictures are so fake. None of these hags look like themselves in the promo pics, especially Kim. Kim has got old lady bloat in real life and they airbrushed the fat and flab off of her and "toned" her up.

The fact remains that they look fake, airbrushed or not. You can do whatever you want to Sarah Jessica, but she is still a homely looking woman.

I always assumed that in the show these women were supposed to represent average girlfriends in the big city, that none of them are true beauties, just average women. Although I wouldn't describe any of them as homely, the star is the least attractive of all of them, and probably the worst actor. And the irony of it is that the story lines portrayed Carrie as pretty heavily sought after by men. Huh????

If you are not a fan of the show, what the hell are you doing here!!! The girls will always be great and fabulous in their own ways!! Some women maybe 10"s, but that is with makeup and airbrushing!! Even the top models, get real.

I totally believe they use the airbrush to much anymore. Michael Jackson really didnt hold his kid over the rail in his Motel room they air brushed it in. Britney Spears didnt drive holding the baby in front of her the baby was photoshoped in. Her sister is not pregnant they photoshopped her that way. Lance armstrong didnt have testicular cancer they photshopped it. That man didnt screw his picnic table he was photoshopped.

Meeeeoooooww!! I am suprised by this article and some of the comments. There is always some jealous person just waiting to tell everybody what their problems are. These ladies look great! They have NOT been "airbrushed to look 20", anybody with half a brain can see they aren't 20 - but they are beautiful.
