Billionaires marry brunettes more than blonds

Maybe blonds have more fun. But when you're tanning on the yacht, drinking daiquiris, and getting pedicures from Marco -- the hot pool boy, who lives to satisfy your every need -- chances are you won't care. That's because, at least according to dating experts, you, the brunette, are far more likely to land a man who can lavish you with absurd sums of money than your blond counterpart.

Which brunettes scored billionaire hubbies?

In fact, 62% of billionaires have married (or are in long-term relationships with) brunettes, while only 22% chose more fair-haired companions. Women with black hair reeled in a measly 16% of the world's wealthiest bachelors, while redheads barely made the list.

I can't seem to find the part of the article that could make it mean something ... what percentage of the female population is brunette, blond etc?

Redheads account for only 7% of the population --- guess you didn't factor that into your calculation.

The bigger reason why these billionaires don't pick redheads for trophy wives --- redheads are too intelligent and independent to be purely arm candy.

Aren't the majority of white women brunette anyway? Isn't this probably just because there are a lot more of us to marry in the first place? Or maybe billionaires don't care about having a blonde bombshell as much as we think?

I dye my hair red by choice! I wish it was natural. Everyone who sees it tells me what a great color it is. I was an (un)natural blonde for years, and sure, I got lots of oogles, but I find that people of substance want to talk to me when I'm a redhead.
Who needs a man with a billion? Why not just try to make my own? Then that way I don't have to share it with him!

I dye my hair red. I'm a natural blonde. Sure, most men prefer blondes, but red really does suit me better and I've only gotten compliments for my color.

Every famous beauty that stands out is a dark haired girl, even Marilyn Monroe was a dyed blond. Sophia Loren and Elizabeth Taylor, set the bar. Blondes like Kim Basinger and red head Ann Margaret really stand out too, but they are not memorable.

Last time I checked, "Blond" was spelled BLONDE. Wow, no wonder no one trusts the media anymore when they can't even spell words in their headlines correctly!!!!!

Actually, it can be spelled BLONDE or BLOND.

And like someone said, not all redheads are intelligent, not all blond(e)s are dumb, and not all brunettes are white. Hair color doesn't make the person. This is a lame article.
