EPMartin was inspired by the founder's grandfather and the simple, decisive means by which he lived his life.


They make chronographs and standard watches that will withstand the harshest of environments, and they test the products themselves. For instance, the Sahara (pictured) was worn by an EPMartin employee and other crazy like-minded individuals for a "self-supported race covering 150 miles of the Sahara in Egypt. Seven days, terrain covering rocky mountains, red, gold and white sand dunes 122m high, the occasional oasis, and the fierce heat of the Sahara providing almost no relief from one day to another." You know, a test.

Their Torch and Cartridge collections, respectively, are inspired by actions and equipment from WWII, with individual pieces each having their own story:

• The Limited Edition MotoCorsa model celebrates the best Ducati dealership in North America.

• The Sahara TI is attributed to the Soviet Union pioneering the use of titanium in military and submarine applications and is cased in such.

• The Limited Edition Running The Sahara Chronograph celebrates the achievement of Charlie Engle, Ray Zahab and Kevin Lin running coast to coast across the Sahara. They ran for H20 Africa, an organization saving millions of lives by bringing clean water to the continent. A large portion from the sale of this watch goes directly to H20 Africa.
