Blackbird Tees: Put your back into it

Whit Honea is a slacker, a borderline degenerate, and a daydream believer. He's also our resident expert on casual chic. If it's comfortable, and not heinous, he's all over it. He's quite charming, really.Need a job? Got a torso? You are in luck. Blackbird Tees has got you covered. This innovative Seattle based company provides t-shirts with a catchy slogan on the front and your personal resume on the back. Those with the bravado to do so can become a walking billboard for themselves. Who better to represent you than you? No offense, Mom.
The Resume Tee embodies "the spirit of putting yourself out there, the Blackbird Resume Tee is a creative way to expand a job search. It makes the process interactive and invites people to talk to you." You choose the design for the front and upload your own resume for the back, and voilà, you're in business- or at least closer to it.
Basically, you're advertising yourself everywhere you go. We recommend coffee shops and happy hours, although the latter could get ugly if you and your potential employer(s) have one too many. Maybe you should just stick with a latte.
They also offer the Freelance Tee, which, as the name implies, is a t-shirt for freelance professionals to promote their services or hawk their wares. Says the Blackbird Blog: "In a given day, you potentially pass hundreds of people. As you're getting coffee, buying groceries, grabbing dinner, catching a movie, walking your dog, you could be advertising your skills and creativity to the community."
Find your Blackbird.

I was full on prepared to think this was ridiculous, but what do you know? I kind of like the writer shirt! I'm not sure I would do it, but it's kind of a clever idea.
Although, I'm thinking updating one's resume would become slightly more complicated ...
