Her line of t-shirts and note cards feature her hip, futuristic secret agent characters.
Tell us a little about yourself and your work. I'm an illustrator and create these odd but fun illustrations which are screenprinted onto tee shirts and note cards. I created a story about my character drawings. They are mysterious secret agents from all across the world. Each character has their own story and strange super hero power.
How did you get your start? Well, the idea came from simple drawings I did when I was bored. I showed them to family and friends and received positive responses. Everyone was so supportive and started encouraging me to do something with the drawings so I decided to print the illustrations on tee shirts. In 2005, I launched gohgirl!Any advice you would give to aspiring designers? Don't be afraid of rejection. Be confident in yourself and what you make!
What inspires your work? I'm inspired by art, fashion, everyday objects, music, etc.
Who are your favorite designers? Comme des Garcons, Vivienne Westwood, and Yohji Yamamoto
What are your top fashion & beauty must-haves? I'm a total sucker for Adidas sneakers which you'll almost always see me in. And of course you always need a fun, chunky ring to accent your outfit.
