Topshop: A date has been set
Filed under: Style in the News, News
After a few months of paying ridiculous shipping charges for adorable plaid blouses and tops covered in stars from across the pond, the UK's prized fast fashion chain Topshop will be opening its doors stateside on October 15th.Everyone: Awesome!
Located at 478 Broadway in SoHo, the flagship will stay true to its British roots. Sir Philip Green -- owner of the company -- says that the stores will not be receiving any sort of an "American twist."
In fact, he plans on sending English staff to New York to run the store in its first weeks and maybe, if we're lucky, he might even place a fleet of red double-decker buses on the streets of New York to celebrate the store's launch.
Cool, right?
Now the bad news: If you don't live in New York, you're still going to have to buy your goodies online because the next few stores Green plans on opening in the U.S. are going to be in that particular state.
No, we aren't even the slightest bit angry that we live in Texas.
