It's not how low CAN you go, but how low SHOULD you go with these jeans

Due to the popularity and demand of extremely low-rise jeans, Sandra Tanimura, designer for Sanna's Brazil Fashion, has designed this uber-low (and uber-hideous) nod to one of the worst clothing trends to come about in recent years -- the whale tail.

Thong Jeans -- Ew!

Okay, on the one hand, we at least are less likely to see any actual underwear (or worse) if a woman is wearing these -- the built-in bikini should hide naughty bits when girls bend over. However, on the other hand ... well, look at them! It's not only when a girl bends over in these that you see more than you ought to -- it's all the time.

Although, is anyone else concerned about the fact that these super-tight jeans are held up only by a couple of bikini string ties? We are so not on board with this one.

I know a few Brazilian women who would probably wear something like this. Can't say I'm surprised this design comes from that country :) But whatever, Brazilian women are hot enough to pull off pretty much anything!

Good question, Terry. Some of us would like to be allowed to do just that. I'm just jealous they don't make these jeans for bodies like mine (i.e., male).

We really don't understand the point of these jeans. The design is not very attractive and it looks very uncomfortable. Maybe in hot Brazil or Miami it would work at the clubs!

No, thank you. I don't want to be a slave to fashion. I have to see other women dress like this for years and I just couldn't put myself through that or anyone else. Eww.

Maybe in Brazil these tramp pants are acceptable. I just hope that I don't see anyone in those jeans in public.

Crack above the pants makes me wanna dance, and the only reason a girl would have trouble wearing these pants is because some men have no idea how to be respectful. Those men disrespect all women not just women wearing sexy outfits. I love it.

Can I just say thank you thank you thank you, I hope these catch on in Minnesota summers, it covers more than a thong bikini on the beach, or even a string bikini. People have a hard time with change, Americans are very conservative, especially the in the new Bush era.

Nothing wrong with them. If you have the body to pull it off, why not. People are way to uptight. The problem is, now a days women (individuals) aren't supposed to be sexy and show it, why not? The main answer, if one woman does it, it makes all women sexual objects. If someone can't see a woman as an individual and not a represntative of all women, well that's there problem. Women can be smart, beautiful, AND sexy without compromising who they are and their worth.

This woman wearing these has a rockin' body but, you would actually have to stay in that position for them to be comfortable. "I'm sorry, I can't move....my pants won't allow it."
