As the weather heats up, so does the party scene -- we can hardly keep track of all the swanky events on our calendar. There are weddings, birthdays, and plenty of "just because" cocktail parties that give us reason to glitz up our everyday look. And, one of our favorite ways to take an outfit from day to night is with a pair of killer earrings.
We love these MAWI shield with stone earrings (available at Chick Downtown for $151) for several reasons. For one thing, they have the pink and yellow stones, which makes them really unique. The shield design is unique as well, and adds a certain toughness to an otherwise seriously girly design. And, they are the perfect length -- not too long, but substantial enough to really make an impact.

We would wear these with some dark jeans and stilettos and a floaty, silky top, with hair pulled back to show them off. How about you?
