Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala: The worst of the worst
Filed under: CELEBRITY STYLE, Celebrity
We look forward to the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala every single year! We wait with anticipation to see what kinds of amazing dresses all the beautiful stars are going to wear on one of the biggest nights in fashion. But let's not kid ourselves -- we're also anxious to see whether anyone goes out on a limb and wears something crazy or horrendous. There's a lot of pressure to get it right on a night like tonight, so for those that fall, they fall hard.Browse through the gallery to see who did not make our best dressed list. And we should clarify that some of the dresses aren't actually that horrible. But the best dressed list was full of so much gorgeousness that anything less than perfect just couldn't make the cut.

Oh my god what the hell is up with Mischa Barton's head/body/neck in this photo?! This photo of her toally reminds me of this one particular scene from a movie called 'Death Becomes Her', where Meryl Streep falls (is pushed) down the stairs and she wakes up/stands up at the bottom of the staires and her head is twisted around backwards so she has to walk back wards?!! "Earnest. EARNEST! You pushed me down the staires." lol love that movie!

I actually really liked the overall look that Katie Holmes had - the make up with the dress was coordinated without being clownish - and I also thought that the texture and cut of Liv Tyler's dress saved it from being too boring. Not best dressed but definitely not worthy of sharing a list with the likes of Mischa Barton!

Emiy, I expected more from Liv! She could have done sooooo much better, that's why she was on that list. As for Katie Holmes, I just didn't like the look. Plus, she wore pretty much the same thing to the welcome party for the Beckhams. BORING!
Heather, hahahaha, that comment cracked me, I know exactly what scene you're talking about!
