Very special thank you notes from Mrs. John L. Strong
Filed under: Fashion, Designers & Brands

A certain type of person sends thank you notes for everything, just to use her fine paper products. We are that type.
When we fantasize about getting any kind of stationery, Mrs. John L. Strong leaps to mind. The website proclaims Mrs. JLS to be "the world's finest luxury stationery" and we completely agree. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the card stock is exceptionally heavy, and the imprints are flawless. Also, wicked expensive. But so, so pretty!
With wedding and graduation season coming up, think about acquiring a quality set of personalized stationery for thank you notes, either with your monogram or a meaningful symbol. Mrs. JLS has a four leaf clover design ($110 for 20 cards) we'll be dreaming about for months to come.
Some thank you note tips:
- Timing matters: send your note within two weeks
- Better late than never: failure to meet the deadline does not absolve you of the burden. Get it done!
- Be specific without cataloging every detail: thank Aunt Alice for her generous gift, leave out "of ten smackeroos"
- Use paper and pen: email doesn't count, and neither does thanking someone in person

Oh, and Thank You!
