We've all seen Chris Hansen expose perverts, thieves, and con men on Dateline. And since Tyra Banks' addictive model show hit the air, we all can say we know a little something about the modeling industry i.e., never go on America's Next Top Model if you want to have a chance at a legitimate career.
But what do we know about the people who make our affordable, fast fashion at places like Forever21, H + M, and Asos? How do those Chloe-esque trousers and blouses come into fruition?
Well, our questions have been answered in the BBC's new mini-documentary, Blood, Sweat and T-shirts. The show follows six fashion fiends as they experience the lives of India factory workers, making clothes for British high street chain stores.
In this clip, the participants are sent to work at a cotton mill.
Watch and learn.
