Tender toes tout Pure Care diabetic relief socks
Filed under: Fashion, Best of the Season

If you have tender toes, then you know that working out can mean more than just aching muscles. The wrong socks can rub your feet raw with rough material or sharp seams.
Many, many times we've been really cooking on the elliptical machine, thinking, "We're finally going to fit into that sample size dress!" only to cut the workout short because of painful blisters from our socks.
After searching through the Adidas outlet, Niketown, and the (kinda snotty) New Balance store, not to mention every Sports Authority on the east and west coasts, we finally found the solution on the foot care aisle of our local Walgreens, in the form of a sock developed for people with diabetes.
Pure Care Diabetic Relief Socks are incredibly soft, don't have a seam to tear at your toes, come in a couple of styles -- a mid-calf crew sock, and a more stylish mini-crew -- and are priced very affordably at $3.99.
Now that we know about these socks, we're hunting for a new reason to get out of going to gym, but our feet feel a million times better.

Comfy socks sound great and all, but it's your *shoes* that are the problem if you're cutting workouts short because of blisters. Head to a proper shoe store and be fitted properly in workout shoes, and wear those shoes *only* when you workout.

Thanks for your comment Marina, you're totally right that it's important to have well-fitting shoes for working out. But yes, it really was the seam on the socks that just killed my baby toes. Same shoes, different socks, I was fine!

I AM IN REMISSION FOR BREAST CANCER AND KNOW THE IMPORTENCE

ASSISTED LIVING PATIENTS AND HAVE 12 HOUR SHIFTS. I DISCOVERD
PURE CARE SOCKS 2 MONTHS AGO AND THEY HAVE SAVED MY FEET AS
WELL AS MY LIFE. I HAVE PURCASHED 7 PAIR BUT NOW THEY ARE COMING APART AT THE HEEL. ANY WAY OF CONTACTING COMPANY
FOR ADVISE, WASH THEM BY HAND AND USE NO DRYER. IS A REFUND
AVAILABLE I STILL WANT THE PRODUCT BUT WOULD EXPECT THEM TO
LAST LONGER AT $3.99 A PAIR. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THE SOCKS TO
MY PATIENTS FAMILY MEMBERS BUT I HOPE THEY WILL NOT HAVE THE
SAME PROBLEM ALTHOUGH THEY WILL NOT BE ON THEIR FEET AS I AM.
THANKS FOR ANY INPUT.
