Naomi Campbell: I'm not a supermodel

We've got to give it to Naomi Campbell. The icon is never for a dull moment.

In the last six months alone, she's been arrested, banned from an airport, tapped to front Yves Saint Laurent's fall ad campaign, and managed to land a guest role on the season finale of Ugly Betty.

The supermodel will play the designated hitter for Elle magazine's softball team, which plays against the fictional Mode magazine.

Ugly Betty stars Becki Newton and Michael Urie interviewed Naomi about her super-special appearance on their show and she in turn gave them a ear full. First, she rattled something off about not wanting be called a "international supermodel" (Go figure). And just when we thought we'd heard it all from those British lips, she says: "Softball requires flat shoes. Can I please wear heels?"

Now, what would fashion be without its divas?
