Quick Picks: Adrien Brody's tie is well, on his neck

Adrian Brody is not a guy that we usually recognize as a leader in celebrity guy trends, but he must think that he's starting something new and exciting with this tie under the shirt thing.
First off, we think the metallic tie is a little douchey. Second, he's wearing a collared shirt. Third, he neglected to put the tie around the collar. WTF? We've got mixed feelings about the wavy hair, but put in context with the rest of the ensemble, it looks pretty dorky.
He seems to be mixing the Chippendale's look with the genius/stoner look but it's not working for him. There's no way he's stoned or genius enough to overlook the fact that his tie isn't in his collar. That only leaves one option: he put it there on purpose. What more can we say?

You're going to fault him for having naturally wavy hair? That's a bit petty, don't you think?
Anyway, for my own reasons I kind of like the tie the way he has it, but I'm not sure about it in conjunction with Cannes Film thing...still, he's beautiful, and IMO, he can wear anything he wants and he will still look hot.
BTW, Adrien isn't always in the headlines the way some other male stars are, nor is he scrutinized to the degree of someone like Pitt or Clooney, but he is indeed known for having a usually chic and fashionable style. ;)

and mate, if you're gonna sit on your fat american arse and trash an astoundingly amazing an actor as Adrien Brody for maintaining his own sense of unique and elegant style and not attending in your run-of-the-mill suit&tie and looking like any other bloke, at least have the common courtesy to get his name right in text...
