Kate Moss dropped by Agent Provocateur for a younger model

Goodbye, Kate Moss, hello Alice Dellal! Agent Provocateur has dropped the reigning queen of heroin chic as the face of their lingerie line in order to replace her with a fresher look.

Alice, who's just 20 years old, is a half Brazilian, half British model and socialite. She has already done some test shots for the company.

A source close to AP said, "Everyone is stunned. Kate's shots were really well received, but bosses thought it was time to move on. They want a fresh new face and think they've found the candidate in Alice."

Kate's pictures for AP were hot, hot, hot so this comes as quite a surprise. It's like thinking you're in a happy marriage, and then your husband just up and leaves you one day for a younger woman. Ouch!

Although, it has been pointed out that Kate's $1 million dollar deal for AP was basically for a guest appearance in their bridal line because the company hadn't renewed her contract from the year before.

This will be a disaster, just like when Gap replaced SJP with Joss Stone. She may be younger, but the older gals look fresher. That girl looks like she should be a grunge model.

the new girl is about as ugly as I have seen. I see prettier girls every day in the street. Then again I never though KM was hot either...AT ALL!!

Ha ha ha is all I have to say. I recall Kate Moss( at 19) saying somthing along the lines of she was so wonderfull because young and at 25 you were to old. We are about the same age, and even then I thought that was the dumbest thing I ever heard. So she should realize she her self is a old hag and step down.

actually, it is herion chic buddy. so she wasnt wrong in writing that. herion is a drug and all the disguistingly skinny models of the 90s looked liked thed been on a binge for months. hence the term, herion chic.

but ANYWAYS, i dont think either one is good to model anything. i modeled b4 i had my son and looked the look, and now that i look back i realize i looked anorexic, not cute. they need to find someone with some curves to model lingerie.

Kate is beautiful and just because they have changed models doesnt change that. She is cooler than cool and a fashion icon soooo its pretty stupid of them to drop her for a unknown and not even half as pretty as kate.
