Tom Ford's new ads are even racier than the last set
Filed under: News
If you remember Tom Ford's last ads (you know, the ones that were banned in Italy), it'll come as no surprise that the designer's most recent set aren't exactly family-friendly. In fact, they're even more obscene, featuring full-frontal nudity of both the male and female variety.Whoa.
Tom, we love you, and you make nice clothing. But that's just it, we like the clothes -- not necessary the naked bodies of the models who might sometimes wear them. Don't get us wrong, these people are hot and everything, but there are plenty of, erm, entertainment outlets already devoted to exposed genitalia. We come to you when we're interested in covering up our bits and pieces with something stylish.
Although we do applaud the effort -- if nothing else, these are certainly...provocative.

Where does smut like this get published? I'm sure there are those that believe this is oh so chic and I am just a backward slob, but these images belong in Penthouse, not a fashion magazine.
When I see something like this (especially the park bench shot) it gives me the impression that the designer is so desparate for attention they will do anything and exploit anyone to get that attention.
I won't be buying anything Tom Ford is hustling under principle now.

I agree with you Emily. This screams major attention grabber. Everyone knows sex sells, instead why not push the edges of ads with clever creative marketing genius.
Sex selling is old and desperate, these just make for tacky and raunchy ads. It gives the impression they couldn't come up with anything else.

These ads are so tacky, trashy, and are a complete lack of class and good taste. Where the hell in the world are these considered appropriate?? They are just disgusting and I find them offensive. If I wanted to see images like these, I would rent porn.
