Proenza Schouler wants to hook-up your feet

Last July a Valentino Fashion Group called SpA purchased a forty-five percent stake in the Proenza Schouler brand -- which meant that designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez would finally have enough funding to create a line of accessories to accompany those banded dresses and bustier tops their customers flip out over each season. Now, after launching a line of cool bright-colored sunglasses a couple of months ago, the boys are now setting their sights on footwear.
WWD reports the brand has inked a deal with Giuseppe Zanotti to produce women's shoes. If you're in good with the duo you (and aren't we all), then you could probably get your pair of clunky Proenza Schouler wedges during the limited offering being launched for the brand's resort sales.
Everybody else without a fashion industry contact, can stop by the PS showroom this September -- when the complete collection will be made available.
