Tyra, you've got some competition.

While America's Next Top Model is officially out of session, there is another fashion reality show vying to takeover ANTMS's Wednesday night prime time spot:

She's Got The Look, is a modeling competition for the 35 and older demographic (aka the gray and experienced). The winner will receive a contract with the Wilhelmina Agency and a spread in Self Magazine.

The judges include supermodel Beverly Johnson, Eva Longoria's stylist Robert Verdi, and Wilhelmina Inc. president Sean Patterson. The series will make its debut June 4th at 10pm.

This should be cool -- for our mothers. It'll be interesting to see what type of weekly competitions the producers have cooked-up for the contestants. They couldn't be as outrageous as walking on a runway with a live cock roach, though.

On one level the idea is good, but how will it impact the show that one of its contestants is lying about her age and also claiming she's never posed for a camera when she in fact has. She's even been on a reality show before. I posted on this at this link,

I like it! I love the fact that we are celebrating "women" and not girls. While I enjoy America's Next Top Model, I also like to see someone who looks like me and to make real, the fact that WE ALL should appreciate the blessings of getting older.
