We love cruise lines! They're so fun and glamorous and totally over the top. And nobody does cruise/resort collections better than Badgley Mischka, kings of fabulous jaw dropping gowns.

Cruise lines in general are much less conceptual than regular lines by big name designers so they're easier for the general public to buy into (that is if you have a couple thousand dollars to drop on a dress just sitting around in your wallet).



In beautiful blues and shimmering golds and silvers the Badgley Mischka Cruise collection was nothing short of stunning. Just looking at the models made us want to pack up our bags and hop on a boat to an exotic beach location somewhere!

As far as trend spotting goes, let's just say this -- don't throw away those one shoulder gowns yet. Even though they've been severely overused and abused on the red carpet this season, it looks like we'll continue to see them make the rounds.

And we'd be remiss if we didn't mention the daywear. It looks like the safari khaki look is back -- to wear it well and make it look modern, throw in bright splashes of colors in accessories like big belts, big earrings, big hats or pretty much anything oversized, like the designers did.
