• Get yourself out there. Get some models, do your thing on them, snap some professional photos and send your five best looks to agents in your area. Finding an agent is as easy as using Google.

• Network. Go to parties where industry people are at. Meet everyone you can. Offer your services for free whenever the opportunity arises.

• Put your best face forward. No matter where you go be well dressed, courteous, and polite. Don't hit the bottle. Being carried out because you're completely saucy is not the best way to be seen.

• Be obsessed. Learn everything you can. Borrow books from the library. Sit down with industry elites whenever possible. Cut out, take pictures of, and photocopy images that inspire you and keep them in a file. Develop your own unique look or style.

• Knowledge is power. Never stop learning. It's what will keep you motivated. Work with people who are levels above you. Continually learn new skill sets. Stay on top of trends.
