We love all of the amazing independent designers out there. In order to find out more about just what makes all of these creative types tick, we present to you an ongoing segment called Indie Designer Interviews.

Today we're pleased to introduce you to Diane, the creator of Sugarelle, a luxurious line of body products inspired by the tropics.

Tell us a little about what you do. I create a line of island inspired signature fragrances and spa treatments named Sugarelle. Each paraben-free vegan formula contains a handpicked selection of natural extracts, organic oils and botanically infused ingredients. My bath and body line offers a little getaway from everyday life with its coordinated tropical and exotic blends that instantly transform daily rituals into skin-loving retreats. From my body scrubs to the bath oils, my formulas whip your skin into shape without leaving the comfort of your home.

How did you get started creating these products? Inspired by my vacation in the Bahamas several years ago, I wanted to capture that tropical island essence and that spa skin that I was loving on my vacation. I loved being pampered with all the different spa treatments and I wanted to take a little piece of that back home with me. I began to research different ingredients and herbs learning how they benefit our hair and skin. From that point I began my endless quest of fragrant, healthy skin recipes and that would not only pamper my skin but also give me a touch of the islands.

Any advice you would give to aspiring entrepreneurs? Be passionate with what you do. It's much easier to stay focused and motivated when you look forward to starting your day with something you love.
