Behind-the-Scenes: Havaianas

Flip flops: you love them, we love them, and honestly, the world would be much colder without them.
Even though the sandals could leave us with busted and broken ankles in the near future and expose us to a potentially life-threatening disease, we unapologetically throw caution to the wind every time the sweltering weather conditions become too unbearable and slide our lovable thong shoes right on.
Next to Old Navy's stock of flip flops, our favorite kind are made by Brazilian brand Havaianas. They come in a variety of Willy Wonka colors and playful patterns, but more importantly, they're really comfortable. Michelle aka "Factory Girl" of Nylon recently took a trip to Brazil to check out the Havaianas factory.
Luckily for us, she documented her fun trip. In this clip, watch as the ever-popular sandals transform from a huge pile of rubber to the flip flops we dish out $20 for every summer.
