Designers are whipping up back-to-back collections as if they only take a couple of days, hours, or minutes to put together. Not even a week after the resort shows came to an end, the haute couture parades are in full-force right and every celebrity with even just a little bit of fashion cred is in Paris right now taking in all of the fabulous looks at fashion houses like Chanel and Givenchy.

Suffice it to say, those keeping up with all of the action via Style.com are probably experiencing a major case of whiplash right now trying to keep up with everything.

This is the only explanation we could come up with as to how someone could have possibly over-looked the Marc by Marc resort collection. Working with a sherbet color palette, the collection gives off a cool 80s vibe with high-waisted cropped pants, striped knits tops, and copious amounts of silver in the forms of accessories and a few fun party dresses.

Normally, a designer's resort collection acts as a preview to what they'll have in-store for their next ready-to-wear collection. And if this is in fact a Marc by Marc sneak peak, expect to swoon once again come September over Marc's hipper and younger line.
