Spanish designer Joseph Font pays tribute his heritage

When cultural flavor is thrown into the mix in fashion, we almost always love the end results. Designers paying tribute to their heritage is a beautiful thing. Joseph Font, of Spain, has done just that with the Fall-Winter 2009 Haute Couture collection he showed today in Paris.

When you think Spain do you think about the bold reds and yellows of the Spanish flag, beautiful florals or the graceful ruffles on a Flamenco dancer's costume? If you don't, you should!

Joseph's clothes seemed to take inspiration from all those things. Our favorite part about the collection were the tights! They, were beaded, floral, textured and lavish. And, of course, they would look ridiculous in every day life (unless of course, you're one of those people who shows up on the Sartorialist's blog).

But, we still want them!
