There are only two articles of fabric we really care about come summertime, bikinis and barbecue aprons. We could sit here and talk bikinis all day, or better yet we could show you pictures of them. We're not going to do that- at least not in this post.

Wait! Don't leave! You can read about bikinis anytime, how often do you get the opportunity to appreciate the apron? It is the forgotten accessory of summer, but it is a vital one.

An apron is a great way to express oneself. It can be covered in beer bottles or kittens, crude jokes or sweet sentiments. The possibilities are endless. The BBQ Guys have a few examples below:


The person wearing the apron at the BBQ is the guy (or gal). They are the one that is responsible for the happiness and full bellies of everyone else. That's a big responsibility. It's no coincidence then that the standard apron easily transforms into a cap with just the simplest of twists and perhaps a phone booth. The grill is a platform for heroes.
