Wimbledon girls' singles winner Laura Robson ditches white for the Champion's Ball

Filed under: CELEBRITY STYLE, Fashion, Celebrity, Best of the Season

She might have had to wear all-white for Wimbledon, but 14-year-old girls' singles winner Laura Robson went with a totally different look at the Champion's Ball, choosing a short black dress and fun pink shoes.

Laura is the first Brit to win Wimbledon since 1984, and while it was certainly a lot of work to win the title, it was also difficult to pick a dress -- 150 dresses were brought for the women to choose from, and the teenager was first in line. It might've been tough, but we think she made a great choice!

The young champion has gotten some attention, not only for her tennis game, but also for how well-spoken and self-assured she is off the court. Since she's just 14, we hope we don't see her out at too many parties, but when she is, we'll have to keep an eye on what she wears -- the girl seems to have an eye for fashion!
