Tip of the day: No sweat!
Filed under: Fashion, Beauty, How to Wear
If you're a man who gets more than just a little sweaty during the warmer months, you might want to consider some of the following tips to ensure a more comfortable, less disgusting sweat-proofed summer.
• Heavy-duty deodorants, possibly Doc prescribed
• Special products like sweat blocking pads that need only be applied once a week or armpit pads that adhere to skin and act as a barrier between skin and fabric
• Breathable shoes like leather or sandals and absorbant insoles; no canvas!
• Soak clothes in cold water to avoid stains
• No matter how hot, wear an absorbant undershirt like those made by Under Armour.
• Use fabric softener to help clothes smell fresh as a daisy
• Opt for organic fibers like silk, linen or cotton which are lighter than the processed synthetic fabrics
• Wear light colors which will deflect the sun
