Last season, the crazy cool duo behind Heatherette decided not to show at Bryant Park. This was quite sad on so many different levels, but specifically because their upbeat and crazy shows have always been things of dreams.

The decision not to show also caused many to speculate that designers had parted ways. And the fact that the brand let go of its publicists doesn't help the situation either. But alas, this is suppose to be all "false."Or at least that's what they would like for us to believe.


Well, while we all patiently await to see if Richie Rich and Trevor Rains actually make it under the tents next season, we have a bit of info about what Mr. Rich has been up to lately. The blonde babe is in the midst of launching is first compilation album, Celebutante. It will feature tunes by Lil Mama, Madonna, Scissor Sisters, Richie, and others. The CD will drop sometime in September.

Meanwhile, Celebutante is also the name of Richie's new line with Hot Topic. Expect everything to be covered in pink and copious amounts of glitter.
