Kimora Lee Simmons isn't just obsessed with the word fabulosity (her latest book, perfume and clothing line all share the name) she embodies it! How else do you explain yesterday's launch party/fashion show for her Fabulosity clothing line, which was sponsored by JC Penney? Everyone from actress Gabrielle Union, celebrity stylist Robert Verdi, and major magazine editors Danyel Smith of Vibe and Memsor Kamarake were there.
So was Q Hardy, the celebrity hair stylist who keeps Kimora's (not to mention Iman, Zoe Kravits and a few other Hollywood beauties) hair looking luscious.
Together, these a-listers sipped on champagne, danced to Kimora's favorite hip-hop beats and enjoyed a half-hour runway presentation of clothes from Fabulosity, Kimora's new range of clothes targeted at teens and young adults and sold in JC Penney.
Personally, I think the pieces were fun, casually chic they were and found them to be well-made and totally on trend. I caught up with stylist and Vibe Magazine Fashion Director, Memsor Kamarake, to get his thoughts on the new collection. "Remember Donna Karan's Seven-Easy Pieces? Well Kimora is giving you about eighteen and they are all amazing! Even better, they are well priced so girls can manage to still look fabulous in today's shaky economy!"

Kimora and JC Penny seem like a good match, with her name recognition with the young hip shoppers, and their wide distribution.

I WORK AT JCPENNEY AND HER CLOTHING ISNT MADE WELL. THE FABRIC SHE USES MAKES THE CLOTHING LOOK VERY CHEAP. SHE SHOULD STICK WITH BABYPHAT.
