On lasts night's episode of Project Runway, the designers had to create chic outfits that the American Olympic team could proudly strut in during the opening ceremony. Unfortunately, though, it appears that none of them have ever caught a vintage Youtube clip of the ceremony before.

Everybody lived up to that old fashion saying that goes something like, "if you give a designer some athletic shoes, they'll turn them into a pair of canvas sneaker pumps." OK. We're pretty sure no one has probably ever said that, but each contestant last night ditched the whole athletic slant to their challenge for streamlined silhouettes and low-cut necklines.
