Those of you out there living in a small town but with big fashion dreams can look to Eric Daman, stylist for Gossip Girl for some inspiration. The man behind the look of one of the hottest (and, arguably, the most fashionable) show on TV grew up in a small town in Michigan, and just look where he is now!

It seems that, even though he has access to absolutely the newest, trendiest, and most expensive pieces by the best designers, he's kept a little of that midwest sensibility. He likes to mix pieces from Forever 21 and H&M in with the designer outfits.

He said, "I always want to make kids feel like they can look at what the characters are wearing and they can afford to go out and buy something for themselves. I strive to inspire the watchers, but it's also important to have fun with clothing. Clothing can be fun and glamorous without making you feel alienated -- that's what I want to get across."
