Don King goes off on diamonds, shoes and the match between Federer and Nadal

There was a serious "Grapple in the Apple" last week, when reigning tennis champs Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal met at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City's Time Square. Unfortunately, they weren't there just to provide great eye candy - but to promote their up coming match during the U.S Open. As you can imagine, they looked young, handsome and rich - but all eyes were glued to the old, quirky and loud man who was moderating the meeting: Don King.

After repeatedly announcing to the audience that this match was sure to be "the greatest!" King went backstage to hold court with several reporters where he talked about everything from his past, to politics. But of course, the only thing I cared about was -you guessed it - his outfit! King gave me the rundown on his look, saying about his suit, "I don't know who made it;" his shoes, "A little black guy called Donny made them;" and his multiple layers of jewelry, "Diamonds are a girls best friend - and a man's too!"
