Vintage Red to release 2008 Autumn/Winter line

Filed under: Accessories, Fashion, Best of the Season, Stylish Living

When we last visited Vintage Red they were releasing their Spring 2008 line and we were so impressed with the pieces, not to mention the vibe of the company, that we were falling over ourselves to sing its praise. We wrote things like, "Vintage Red's latest contribution to our closet is inspired by world travels, beers in Bali, and long laughs shared with "citizens of the world" and "we love a line of clothing that wears like a postcard and a company with pride like poetry." Is it obvious that we were smitten?

Fast forward to the now. Spring has long ago sprung and wilted beneath the heat of summer and we're standing on the cusp of change- falling leaves and football. We need new clothes.

The above images are from the A/W 2008, but they aren't available just yet. In the meantime here's what Vintage Red has to say about the Fall 2008 line, which consists of two distinct collections, Northwest Fest and Trafalgar Square, respectively.

"Drawing inspiration from the land that brought us both Starbucks and the Grunge movement, the Northwest Fest collection is the perfect juxtaposition of garments...

"With a Blackberry in one hand and an aged Scotch in the other, the Trafalgar Square collection is all about a Saville Row sensibility for the modern man who has a taste for the classics with a dandy twist."

See why we love Vintage Red? Prose and couture, it's hard to beat.
