Shannen Doherty refuses plastic surgery

Shannen Doherty might not be what most of us would consider a role model, but it sounds like her attitude toward self-esteem might be something other actresses could aspire to. The 37-year-old 90210 actress has said that she'll never change her looks through plastic surgery.
"These are my looks, whether you like them or not," said Doherty. "They work for me. I have a gap in the middle of my teeth. You know how many people wanted to cover that gap?"
She credits her folks with raising her to appreciate that the things that make her different, like the aforementioned gap, are part of what make her beautiful. She "was raised to have a lot of confidence," and while she admits she feels the pressure to try to look perfect, like so many other stars, she doesn't want to change who she is.
We think that's a great attitude to have, but we're curious to see how it holds up after filming with the hot, new, young 90210 crew. That would be trying on even the most secure 30+ starlet!

I LOVED HER ON CHARMED AND SHE CONTRIBUTED "ALOT" FOR THE SUCESS OF 'CHARMED" IN THE FIRST 2 SEASONS AS BRAD KERN STATED IN HIS FINAL EPISODE DVD. I AM WATCHING BEVERLY HILLS BECAUSE OF HER AND THE SEXY BOYS!! AND THE PRINCIPAL IS HOT TOO.!!! SANTANA 25 YRS OLD

The only reason all you bitches trash her for is because you are all jealous. I think she is beautiful just the way she is.I would MUCH rather stare at her on the screen then 90 percent of the super skinny 3/4 plastic fake ass bitches. maybe all you bitches wouldnt hate her so much if you were famous and could afford all the plastic surgery you jealous ugly ass bitches so DESPERATELY need.

has anyone ever noticed that her eyes are not symetrical on her face nor are they level with each other Am I the only one who's ever noticed this or am I just nuts? She has always worn her hair and tilted her head just so as to minimise the wacked outedness of the asymetry of her face but she dont fool me. I would love to see someone tak acaliper and level to her head just to see how lopsided her face really is . and yet surprisingly she was and still is a fox

We all know those are not your breasts...they are silicone implants which you got years ago and then posed for playboy..you are due for new ones...so I can't wait for a photog. to get a picture of the girl who says will never do plastic surgery?

geez carrie you sure say "ASS BITCHES" alot.. are you trying to imply something about your sexuality.. i too have seen her boobs.. no way are they real.. im fairly certain that is considered plastic/cosmetic surgery.. personally i had to have orthgnathic surgery on my jaw and even that was considered plastic surgery.. my insurance wouldnt pay a dime because it falls into that catergory.. anyhow.. depsite that she hasn't changed her face she is still pretty..

What's all the big deal? She's beautiful. If she wants to "enhance" anything, that's up to her. If she doesn't - again, up to her. If she does and she thinks she looks great after, terrific, and again, up to her. And if she doesn't and thinks she's looks great, again, terrific, up to her. Are y'all following me?

I do not think that anyone is perfect...everyone has sutle differences in eyes, ears, foot size, etc. I think that anytime, any hollywood actress takes a stand agains't plastic surgery...it is a positive thing...when I see all those who have...it is sad, it looks horrible and they would have been sooo much prettier had they left well enough alone. I do not know if she had "breast reconstruction" or not, and what does it matter? A stand agains't plastic surgery, is a stand....I always thought she was a nice looking girl. She does not need it. And she has certainly proven not to be even close to being as twisted as a lot of the young hollywood celebrities. Good for you Shannon.
