Fashion Week find: Dannijo
Filed under: Accessories, Fashion, News, Designers & Brands, Runway Report
At a terrific party in Soho, NYC, for up and coming designers represented by PR whizzes Jack + Bill, we spotted Dannijo.
Dannijo is a jewelry line created by sisters Danielle and Jodie Snyder (that's Danielle at right). Their line features subgenres like "Rock'N'Chains," "Lost at Sea," "Joie de Vivre," and "Medieval Princess." We like! Their rich, complex designs vary from fanciful wisps with pearls (like the piece you see at right), to chunky metals with substantial stones and a strong visual impact. What you can count on from Dannijo is solid designs, imaginatively executed.
Girls all over the club (Tailor) wore Dannijo's elegant necklaces. See our gallery below for the jewelry in action, and be sure to visit their website to view more of their luscious designs.
The party itself was a glitzy collection of young professionals and new designers. Our favorite moment? On our way out the door, they handed us coupons for a free soft pretzel from the vendor outside! Very nice touch.
