Tell us a little about yourself and your work. I'm a relatively new jewelry designer. I've been making my own jewelry for over 5 years, but I just recently started selling my designs in the last year. My style is simple, versatile, and elegant. I like to design jewelry that can be worn equally during the day and night. So, whether you're chasing your toddler at the park, attending a meeting at work, or going out to dinner with friends at night, most of my jewelry can be worn during any occasion.

How did you get started as a designer? I've always designed and created my own clothes and sweaters for as long as I can remember. My mom taught me how to sew when I was 8 years old and I learned how to knit in high school. So, jewelry was just a natural progression for me.

Any advice you would give to aspiring designers? Just do it! It took me so long to finally get the courage to go out there and start my business. Now I wonder why I waited so long.

What inspires your work? The weirdest things seem to inspire me, it all depends on my mood. I can easily find inspiration while grocery shopping. It's all in the colors and patterns that surround us. My 16 year old daughter also inspires me. She is a style queen! She can throw on 4 layered shirts that look like they would never match and look fabulous.

Who are your favorite designers? I don't really have any favorite designers, although I love the show Top Designer because I'm always rooting for anyone following their dream and trying to make it in this crazy industry. So, I guess my favorite designers are anyone still undiscovered.

What are your top fashion & beauty must-haves? Top beauty must-have is anything that helps my limp, baby fine hair look fuller. I think I've tried every product on the market. Mousse, gel, spray, you name it.

My top fashion must-haves are great t-shirts. They have to be comfy and well fitting. The reason I like t-shirts is because I'm always wearing my necklaces. So rather than buy a lot of clothes, I let my necklaces be my fashion statement.
