In a former life, I must have been really, really good, because I just had an amazing experience -- I was a model for the Spiegel Spring 2009 Reality Dressing feature!Now, while I'm certainly passionate about fashion and beauty, the truth is that I'm a pretty regular girl. I like to think I'm well-dressed, but I'm not constantly decked out in designer duds, and I have yet to be invited to Diddy's White Party. However, for a day, I was a fashion model. And it was fabulous.

It all came about a few months ago, when they asked if I'd be interested in a trip to New York, a makeover, and a photoshoot. And of course, I jumped at the opportunity. I do enjoy being in front of the camera, my friends.

One of the things that made me even more excited about this opportunity is that it was a Reality Dressing photoshoot -- women representing all ages, from the 20's (me) up to the 60's were photographed, and we were a range of sizes, from itty-bitty (not me) to size 10 or 12. And, you know what? We all looked gorgeous -- like real women, and like ourselves, but the most beautiful versions of ourselves.
