Pretty, punky princesses at Luella Bartley show

Filed under: Fashion Week, Fashion, Runway Report

So what would you wear if you were an 18th century socialite with a penchant for pearls who was pulled through a time warp and landed in the 1980s? My guess would be one of the runway beauties at the Luella Bartley Spring 2009 show in London.

Bartley, who is a British legend for a feminine punk looks, did not disappoint this year with a collection that incorporated chiffon, tweed, ruffles and floral prints. I don't know if you can spot the influence at all, but she actually collaborated with California surf brand, O'Neil for this collection. Do you see it? I don't!
