Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) is just around the corner, and one of the first companies to step up to the plate this year to help is eDressMe.com. eDressMe is a fabulous online retailer with an impressive roster of designers including Anna Sui, Velvet, Nicole Miller, Betsey Johnson, BCBG, Cynthia Rowley, Badgley Mischka, and more--and also a very stylish "Under $99" section.
This October, eDressMe will be donating 20% of the proceeds from selected designs to the Susan K. Komen for the Cure Foundation (here).
One such dress is the pretty pink Shoshanna number you see here. A gallery of our top five picks follows the jump!

Let's be sure to bring awarenesss to PREVENTING cancer by not using skin care/cosmetics with synthetic, toxic ingredients linked to cancer. The Breast Cancer Fund has reported PARABENS, found in most cosmetics and skin products, are found in breast milk and breast tumors. The database at SKIN DEEP can help you learn what ingredients are toxic.
MAMMOGRAMS expose us to radiation, compress our breasts and have false positives, so research mammograms vs thermography.
www.thermographyfirst.com and www.mnwelldir.org/docs/cancer2/mammo.htm convinced me to get THERMOGRAPHY, so did an oncology nurse at a cancer research hospital.
Articles by DEVRA DAVIS, PhD and Director for the Center of Environmental Oncology are right on target.
Lets not wait for the cancer and then subject ourselves to drugs, chemo and radiation...LET'S STOP IT. Our children and pets and ourselves can WIN the WAR on Cancer if we arm ourselves with knowledge and don't blindly follow the MULTI BILLION DOLLAR profit making pharmaceutical backed asssociations.

Breast Cancer Awareness is consider one of the preventive measures towards such a disease. Hence, it is deemed necessary to educate loved ones and friends to do an early mammogram or thermography. It would be nice to give away a nice gift to stress such point. An example is here:

This month October marks the breast cancer awareness month, we should take this opportunity to educate people and improve awareness to breast cancer as this can help to be detected early or even prevented. Good Luck!

Thanks for all you do, as women we need to spread the word to all of the women we love. Praise God I do not have cancer, nor am I a survivor however I do want women to know the facts and have the awareness they need, so I for one am spreading the word.
