One of the fastest, easiest, and most effective ways to create a good waistline is by using a belt, especially a big, thick one that's really noticeable. We've seen some of the major corset belts around, and, while we like the look, we're a little concerned about whether we'd be able to sit in them.

This Corset with Buckle Belt, $24 at Urban Outfitters, looks like it would actually be wearable. It's wide, but not so enormous that it would interfere in our daily activities.

Additionally, we like that it's pretty casual -- so many of them are patent leather with metal and other embellishments. This, we could throw on with a comfy dress and boots to make it just a bit more stylish (and flattering).
