MTV must be pretty excited. Their number one cash cow, reality star, Lauren Conrad, now has a number one selling clothing line as well. Despite previous reviews in the fashion industry that the pieces are overly simplistic and too high priced, she's selling out!

Frank Doroff, vice chairman at Bloomingdale's was excited about how well LC's line is doing! He said, "The sell-throughs have been fantastic. We got it in and sold out immediately. We can't get the merchandise on the floor fast enough. It is, by far, the best-selling celebrity line we have. It's so much better than I thought it would be."

He sounds surprised she's doing so well. That makes two of us. While we did like the clothes -- pretty and simple is Lauren's thing, so it seems unfair to criticize her for designing in her own style -- they are pretty expensive. Especially since we thought she was targeting her own fan base (teeny boppers spending their parent's disposable income) and not high end clients.
