Pilates for Pink

The third annual Pilates for Pink program, sponsored by Shape Magazine, kicks off this weekend (9/28) in Union Square, New York. $25 tickets can still be bought online and include a Pilates for Pink gift bag with various goodies like an $85 pilates mat (not a bad deal, eh?). From 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there's six ongoing classes from some of New York's leading instructors.
Proceeds benefit the Breast Cancer Research Fund. There's also an online auction with travel packages, workout gear, a makeover with Shape's style editor and other Shape related experiences.
The Pilates for Pink program is supported by more than 500 gyms and studios nationwide. Over the month of October, each location offers 45 minutes pilates classes with 100% of the class fees going to the BCRF. Last year's program raised $175,000 and this year's aims even higher.
