Confirmed: Peter Dundas in and Matthew Williamson out at Pucci
Filed under: News
One of the worst kept secrets was finally confirmed last week:Matthew Williamson, the designer who makes the girls scream for his boho designs, has been replaced by Peter Dundas as the creative director of Emilio Pucci.
After three years of playing with those iconic multi-colored prints, Williamson has finally decided to part ways with the Parisian label. Dundas, a former Parsons grad whose worked with the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier, Roberto Cavalli, and Christian Lacroix, has been chosen to take the rains from Williamson after presented his last collection for Pucci on this past Thursday. Dundas will also continue his role as creative director of furrier Revillon while working Pucci.
Good luck, Peter. You'll need it. There something slightly cheesy about those Pucci prints.
