Shoes illuminated the night sky above Rodeo Drive's super high-end boutiques like sprinkles on cupcakes.
Designer Manolo Blahnik received the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Award from the City of Beverly Hills in honor of his contributions to the worlds of fashion and entertainment. What better way to honor a shoe designer than giving him his own 'walk.' And he deserves it. From Sex and The City's Carrie Bradshaw to Marie Antoinettte herself, Blahnik's unique view of women's footwear has made its mark on Hollywood.
Unlike the traditional Hollywood Walk of Fames, where stars litter the boulevard, the Rodeo Walk of Style has been completely classy through its like five years of operation, celebrating only the most well-known names in the world of style. Blahnik joins style legends Giorgio Armani, Tom Ford, Herb Ritts, Mario Testino, Edith Head, James Acheson, Milena Canonero; Salvatore Ferragamo, Gianni and Donatella Versace and James Galanos.
Pay attention to the shoes in the gallery. They are all Manolo Blahniks, of course.
