Ashley Tisdale always plays the well-to-do (and well-dressed) girl, so we're really confused as to why she would choose to wear this atrocity at the German premiere of High School Musical 3. We have a few possible reasons in mind, though:

1. a) Her grandma made her a giant lace doily, and being the good granddaughter that she is, she wanted to wear it out and make Grams proud.
2. b) She originally was going to wear just the metallic dress, but she wanted something to distract from the fact that we can almost see her lady business when she wears a skirt that short.
3. c) Since her hair has two completely different colors going on, she figured her dress should match.

Her outfits for the HSM 3 premieres have left quite a bit to be desired, and this upsets us because she has the ability to look so beautiful on the red carpet. Check out the gallery to see what we mean.
