Fashion maestro Karl Lagerfeld has designed a 11' 3" x 8' 3.5" mural (shown above) for the redesigned Kiss & Fly nightclub. The site--inspired by Roman art history and design--also features an artist's rendering of the Sistine Chapel. If that's not enough to pique your interest, Kiss & Fly is the new flagship club in New York for Dom Pérignon. There's even $18,000 bottles of bubbly on display (yeah, they're for sale). The club offers 28 VIP tables, each with a private dance floor. And the central table's own dance floor is adjacent to an even more exclusive V-VIP room which requires a door code that's changed nightly.
The ownership group of David Graziano (Pink Elephant and Bagatelle), Corey Lane, Remi Laba, Aymeric Clemente, Randy Scott and Angelo Peruzzi have slated a jazz soundtrack for early in the evening that switches over to house as the night progresses. The fire code only allows for 500 guests so expect this to be a hard ticket.
Kiss & Fly is located in the Meatpacking district, 409 West 13th Street, between Ninth Avenue and Washington Street.
