Heidi Klum wears square shoulders, so why can't you? Tip of the day!

We have noted a mini trend of sorts on fashionable ladies like Heidi Klum, Anne Hathaway, and Chloe Sevigny – the square shouldered dress.• If you are petite, no prints! The dress would swallow you whole. Instead opt for some high heels and classic hue.
• The trend is most flattering on long and lean figures, like Heidi's.
• If you have broad shoulders, you probably don't want to make them even more pronounced with square shoulders! So sorry broad gals but this trend just isn't for you.
• Even if you're not long and lean, petite, or broad you can still give this trend a whirl. The look frames out the face and the V shaped silhouette can be extremely flattering to your middle.
• For a sharp shouldered silhouette, make sure everything else is simplified. Allow great hair and makeup to be your only accessories.
• If a super sharp silhouette doesn't work, go for something softer like Chloe's more rounded square shoulders (if that makes any sense!). It is more flattering and you can add some minimal but fun jewelry or a pop of color.

I have a friend who has a dress with square shoulders. She of course is long and lean, so the look works for her. It is, however, quite questionable on most people.
